Facilities and resources
Leumeah Public School has been serving our community since 1973. Our school offers a range of spaces, tools and resources to support student learning. Whether it’s for study, sport, creativity or technology, our learning environments and resources give students what they need to succeed.
Our school facilities
We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities include:
- bright and comfortable classrooms equipped with air conditioning
- a well-stocked library for reading and research
- three support unit classrooms designed to offer specialised equipment and resources for students with disabilities or those who need extra assistance
- landscaped outdoor learning areas, providing engaging spaces for students to learn outside the traditional classroom environment
- two large ovals and two playgrounds, providing ample space for students to engage in outdoor activities, play and sports
- Aboriginal yarning circle that promotes respectful dialogue and cultrural understanding. It serves as a gathering place for sharing stories, knowledge, and experiences, fostering a sense of community and connection to Aboriginal culture
- modern computer lab for digital learning.
The grounds of our school showcase vibrant murals that reflect the culture and history of our school community. These artworks enhance learning, encourage creativity, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
Construction of a new public preschool on our school grounds has commenced. Specially designed rooms and a quality outdoor play area will provide a safe and engaging environment for 40 students. with expected enrolments starting on Day 1 of Term 1 in 2027.
Resources and technology
Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.
