Uniform
In 2023, the school undertook a lengthy consultation process with students and parents, resulting in modifications to the uniform. Gradually over the past 2 years, most families have moved across to the new 'sublimation polo' shirt. This shirt has an Aboriginal design on it representing the story of our school, the material is lighter and washes more easily. Most parents have reported their satisfaction with the durability of this polo shirt.
From the beginning of 2026, this will be the only shirt for students to wear at school. We acknowledge that many families start ordering uniforms for the following year now, so wanted to give notice that this will be the expected uniform. (Year 6 will also have a Year 6 shirt that is introduced during term 1, 2026).
This polo shirt is an everyday polo, to be worn all 5 days of the week, including sports days and when representing our school. As you begin to plan for 2026, if you are encountering financial difficulties and cannot purchase this shirt, please reach out to our Community Liaison Office via the front office who can discuss ways to support you.
From the beginning of 2026, we would also like students to wear black as the uniform on their lower half. Students can wear an option they are comfortable in, e.g. shorts, skorts, skirts, pants (the Uniform shop also has options available). Our current hats available are the cap and wide brim hat, all students require a hat to play on the oval.
Please see below a poster outlining the preferred LPS school uniform.
Thank you for your support with the transition to the new uniform.
